Sixty Seven
Is he trying to get me all worked up and horny by getting half-naked? Dominique can see the sudden desire in my eyes as he glares at me.
“Nothing is going to happen.” He warns as he removes his belt from its loop.
I watch him undo the button on his jeans as he pulls down the zipper. He removes his jeans and then his shoes until he’s standing before me with nothing but his briefs while I’m naked. I’ve never seen Dominique half-naked before. The night we had together in that hallway, we were both in our clothes and this is something different. This is the first time I’ve seen him half-naked and how perfect he looks.
Slowly, I run my eyes over his body, his defined torso, his muscular arms, his broad shoulders, and the tattoos on his beautiful, golden skin. He’s contoured like a god, tall, dark, and sexy. I bring my gaze down, from his toned stomach, his prominent abs, down to his slowly growing erection.
Dominique puts his arms around my waist as he gently pushes me into the shower. He turns on the shower as cold water cascades down my body, soothing me further and slightly clearing my head.
My breathing is heavy, with my heart beating a little too fast against my chest. Dominique grabs the soap and he starts to glide it on my skin. I stare at him, but Dominique isn’t looking at me as he slides the soap down my stomach right to my abdomen and he stops. He drops the soap on the dish close to the shower as he slides the latter over my body. With his other hand around my waist to steady my wobbly feet, he works my chest, down to my breast as he avoids my already sensitive and swollen nipples.
“I’m sorry I had to put you through this.” I voice out.
Dominique exhales as he looks down at me. He doesn’t say a thing as he rubs the lather down my stomach and down to my hips. He turns off the shower and grabs the soap again as he kneels in front of me. I look down, my teeth tugging at my bottom lip as he slides the soap over my thigh. He begins to work the lather over my skin with his hand.
This isn’t supposed to be sensual, but fuck it if this doesn’t feel good. Dominique’s palm glides across the skin of my thighs, in between my legs, the length of my legs, and slowly back up to my butt. Dominique stands up to his full height as he lands his gaze on my face.
“Don’t tell me you’re getting turned on by this.” His voice is deep, yet smooth. “Turn around.” I obey.
With my hands on the bathroom wall, Dominique glides his palm down my back, massaging the froth all over my skin and down to my butt crack. I start to hear the sound of water pattering against the tiled floor as Dominique puts his other hand around me and turns me around. He gently pulls me forward so that I’m under the shower. I shut my eyes when the cold water touches my skin, slowly sobering me up.
Suddenly, I feel something warm on my head, and I open my eyes. Dominique presses shampoo on my head as he drops it back. His fingers massage my scalp, washing away the vomit as the cold water runs through my hair and down my body. My eyes hold Dominique’s gaze as we stare at each other. The heat coming out of his body soothes my senses and the blank stare he’s giving me makes my heart only flutter.
I can’t read the look on his face. Is he tired, embarrassed by me? I was supposed to come out here to celebrate his kid sister’s wedding with him while pretending to be the perfect girlfriend. Instead, I’m getting drunk and misbehaving. The last time I found myself in this situation, I promised myself I wouldn’t let Dominique see me in that state again. And yet, here I am, drunk out of my mind and throwing up because my twin sister just called me, and my new life is threatening to fall apart before my eyes.
“Are you okay?” Dominique asks.
There’s a strange emotion in his blue eyes but I can’t seem to read it. Partially because I’m drunk and still sobering up.
“Yeah.”
Dominique exhales and turns off the shower when I’m clean. He opens the glass door as he stretches out his long arm to grab a towel. He starts to wipe me clean. Starting from my hair and down to my body. I watch as a single drop of water glides across his collarbone and down his stomach and sneaks past the waistline of his briefs where there is a growing bulge. At least I’m not the only one who’s getting sexually frustrated by the close proximity we find ourselves in.
Without thinking, I shoot my arm out, plastering it on his chest as I slowly glide my palm down to his stomach. Dominique catches my hands before I can further trace the outline on his torso.
“Please stop.” He breathes out, the words leaving his mouth like a whisper. “You are drunk and we don’t want this to get out of hand.”
With his hand around my arm, he leads me out of the shower as he tosses the towel back on the rack. Once we are back in our bedroom, Dominique goes through the clothes in the wardrobe while I sit down on the edge of the bed and watch him. He comes back with a pj set and helps me put it on.
With his clothes in his hands, he says, “I’ll be back.” And then he disappears into the bathroom.
I lay back on the bed with my head pounding and a little sleepy. Dominique emerges from the bathroom, dressed in black sweats and a gray slightly loose T-shirt.
“How are you feeling?” Dominique asks as he stands in front of me, hovering over my small frame on the bed.Copyright Nôv/el/Dra/ma.Org.
“Headache.”
“I’ll be back.” An irritated sigh escapes his lips as I watch him walk out of the room.
I don’t know how long he’s been gone, but a significant amount of weight on the side of my bed makes me open my eyes. Dominique’s holding a bottle of water and a bottle of pills. He helps me sit up as he hands me the water and two pills.
“It will help with the headache.” He tells me as I swallow the pills, flushing it down my throat with the bottle of water.
He takes the water from my hand, screwing back the cap as he sets it on the nightstand close to the bottle of pills.
“Go to bed. I’ll be in the living room if you need me.” Dominique says as he proceeds to stand up. Quickly, I reach out and hold his hand as Dominique flicks his gaze to my hand on his.
“Please stay.”
He shifts his gaze to my eyes as he expels his breath. He’s reluctant.
“Please.”
“Okay.”
With a small smile on my lips, I let go of his hand and create space for him on the bed. Dominique climbs into bed as he pulls me into his arms. He’s tense, with his muscles rigid against my body. His skin is warm as I throw my arm over his torso. Dominique lets out a breath as he starts to relax.
“Goodnight,” I whisper.
“Goodnight.” He whispers into my hair as I slowly fall into a dreamless slumber.
