The Wolf Who hated alphas

Chapter 9 – Intended use

The sun touched her face as Sera opened her eyes. Again, the infirmary. Well, she couldn’t complain, she’d been saved and it wasn’t a place like her old home either. She just wouldn’t want to be giving so much work to Doctor Ty.

“Hey, Sera. How are you?” – Kyria and Thomas entered the room.Content rights belong to NôvelDrama.Org.

“I’d rather not just be dead weight.” – Wrote.

“Don’t say that. You’re our best friend.” – signaled Thomas, translated by Kyria.

“I think I should leave. It would be safer for everyone.” – Sera wrote sadly.

“Go away? Are you thinking right?” – Kyria exclaimed.

“Don’t think nonsense, girl. There’s no safer place than WolfPaws.”

Headmistress Cordelia entered the infirmary in her elegant posture.

“As you three are involved in the latest events, I wish to speak with you.”

Cordelia sat down in one of the chairs and paid attention to what the students communicated to her and noted down every detail.

“Don’t worry, Jacob is in custody in the school dungeon.”

Sera was frightened to learn that there was such a place in high school.

“But we’re investigating more about what happened. Don’t worry. You’re safe here.”

“Funny to hear that when Sera has been to the infirmary so many times.” – Kyria whispered when the director left and handed a paper to Sera, a date: 5/01 at 20:00.

They were silent, watching the paper for a few seconds until someone came in. It was Joshua, Yuji and Yelena, they were bringing flowers.

At that moment, Thomas stood up and apologized to Sera.

“Stay, Thomas. I leave. It will be necessary you.” – Joshua signaled.

Thomas was surprised to see the gesture, but left anyway. That situation was still very difficult for him.

Joshua went out to look for him, but he was gone.

The situation became tense, no one said anything else, and within minutes of greeting Sera, only Kyria stayed.

Thomas came back and apologized.

“What’s between you and Joshua?” – Sera asked.

Seeing Thomas’ angry expression, she wrote:

“You don’t have to tell me if it doesn’t bring back good memories.”

“It doesn’t, but I’ll tell you.”

He took the notebook and started writing, it would be safer that way.

“Joshua and I are alpha and omega destined. That is, we are a perfect match that are very rare.”

Sera agreed, signalling that she understood.

“I knew him from afar, I admired him. I thought he was someone kind and considerate to people. He was also smart, and he’s very handsome, I can’t deny it.”

Sera and Kyria smiled as he wrote this, and Thomas looked away, ashamed.

“Anyway, I prepared for the wedding. I with 18 and Joshua 20. We had no contact until the day. Nothing is said at the time of the ceremony, we just make the marks and mix our blood to symbolize our connection.”

Sera chipped her teeth when she read that, it seemed painful.

“And it was on the wedding night that it all fell apart. He had smiled at me and been kind to the end. Until I found out I couldn’t hear him. He was upset and angry. I could read on his lips, he said he didn’t deserve a deficient omega, a defective omega.” – Tears began to flow down Thomas’ face, but he restrained them.

“So, do you think I should forgive you? That I should forget everything that happened? I’m the one who doesn’t deserve someone prejudiced like him.”

Sera held his hand tightly and wrote with the other.

“I’m sorry, Thomas. You must do what you want. I won’t judge you if you don’t forgive him. There are things that are difficult, to forgive and even impossible.” She wrote remembering her father.

The three embraced each other, one comforting the other. But that of destiny was still hammering on the head of Sera.

Kyria asked what happened when she realized her friend’s condition.

“Can you tell me more about destined and omega and alpha? How do we know if we’re alpha, omega or beta?”

“This occurs well in childhood, in our first contact with our wolf.” – Kyria replied.

“My wolf was taken. My father removed him from me.” – She said, looking away in shame.

Obviously, Kirya and Thomas were in shock. Who would have thought that anyone would be so monstrous as to remove the wolf from a child?

“Director Dawood is helping me with this.” – she said, but was interrupted by a scream.

“She came back. Nancy Rivera came back.” – Someone started screaming all over the school.

Everyone went out into the hallway to see Nancy. A pale girl with dark eyes and white hair.

She looked sick, thinner than usual, her white dress was dirty and her leg torn.

Nancy walked down the aisle as if nothing was happening. People looked on, apprehensive, though, she seemed normal.

“Do not be alarmed. Everything will return to its proper place. And those who must, will be punished.”

That sentence was already, at least, strange. But what was even weirder was Nancy smiling scarily and her head turning and breaking as she did so.

Everyone screamed in horror at the scene. However, it all got even worse when Nancy turned into a white wolf with black eyes and fangs of blood.

The shadows took care of Nancy and she roared as she approached everyone.

The students all turned into wolves, except Sera who stayed hidden watching in horror.

The shadows merged with Nancy and she howled louder. She was attacked, several wolves pinned her to the ground and held her, until larger wolves appeared.

The teachers surrounded her and the creature, who was certainly no longer Nancy, roared with sharp teeth.

The larger wolves threw her to the ground and magic ropes were thrown against her, causing her to turn back into human.

Nancy was dead, but a dark voice still came out of her mouth.

“Those stained with blood shall pay, and their like too. This is only my first puppet.”

And that said, the lifeless body was consumed by the shadows. Nothing left but memories of those who witnessed that dark moment.
