A Second Chance With My Billionaire Love

Chapter 4072

Expecting it to be someone from the property management, Dylan opened the door, only to find Gina squatting there like a forlorn puppy, looking up at him.

“I’ve been sitting here for two hours, Dylan.

In the past, such a sight would have softened Dylan’s heart enough to forgive her.

He had once genuinely cared for her.

But now, his eyes held nothing but cold disdain.

He fixed his gaze on her and demanded, “How did you get the passcode to the elevator?”

Gina withheld the information, fueling his impatience.

Overcome with anger, Dylan forcefully ejected her from the building.

She wept, pleading, “Don’t do this to me, Dylan! I didn’t mean to ruin your relationship.

I just like you so much.

I want to be with you.

Is that so wrong?”

Still believing she hadn’t erred, Gina’s tears were futile to him.

Disinterested in further discussion, Dylan dragged her outside and summoned the security guards to ensure she was barred from the building.

“Don’t let her enter again,” he instructed sternly.

Gina was left crying on the street late into the night.

Ascending to his apartment, Dylan could hear her sobs.

Her tears made him reflect on his own misdeeds-what was he to do when he was the one who had erred?

He doubted he would see ever Olivia again.

She didn’t want to see him and wouldn’t even allow him the chance to apologize.

Upon returning to his apartment, he was greeted by the glaring lights.

Overwhelmed, he shielded his eyes with his hands…

A week later, he saw Olivia again.

She had just gotten the office building when Dylan, who hadn’t seen her for nearly ten days, blocked her path.

He appeared gaunt and worn, his clothes wrinkled and seemingly unchanged for days.

Olivia gripped the car door, facing Dylan.

So much had changed between them.

Before his departure abroad, they were lovers, yet now, there was nothing left.

Since he left, she had seldom thought of him, having resolved to erase him from her memory.Copyright by Nôv/elDrama.Org.

She averted her gaze and quietly shut the car door.

Without uttering a word or allowing room for questions or complaints, she headed straight for the elevator.

As she reached for the elevator button, Dylan seized her hand, forcing her to face him.

They stood so close she could detect the familiar musk of his aftershave—- a scent she once loved because she had chosen it for him.

Now, it only made her feel nauseous.
