Billionaire’s Rebirth Wife

Chapter 54

I dragged my sour and squishy body to work the next morning and became helpless in sorting through documents. When I remembered that he fucked me till daybreak last night, I had a headache.

“Did Mr. Donald get you home safely last night, Trista?” Brenda abruptly pushed her head out, startling me!

“This….” I’m at a loss for words; all I can say is, “I drank too much last night, and I’m not sure what happened afterwards….”

Brenda may have known I lived with Donald!

“Didn’t you just have one glass last night?”

“That wine has a strong enough aftertaste. I become woozy after only one cup!”

“So I guess Mr. Donald sent you securely to the door! Because that is exactly what I instructed him to do!”

“Ah?”

“Isn’t it true that I told you yesterday? Mr. Donald has expressed an interest in me. Do you think it’s just a coincidence? I want to book a box, so he finds the greatest one for me! When I’m hungry, he has someone say to me, “Whatever you want to eat is free!” I asked him to drive you home, and he did so without saying anything! I believe he intends to pursue me!”

“Ah?”

I then remembered what Donald said last night: I’m guessing our relationship will take some time based on her IQ.

I nodded but said nothing in response to Brenda’s statements.

“Could you please tell me who Miss Trista is?” A man appeared unexpectedly at the Department’s door.

“I am,” I answered as I stood up.

When he noticed me, he bowed properly and motioned to the man behind him to “come in.”

I get a strange feeling. Eight people carrying bouquets entered from behind the man. “Miss Trista, please sign for it,” the man in charge replied with a smile.

”  I didn’t order flowers. Are you misinformed?”

“This is from your husband.”

Brenda discovered a card in the bouquet when I was perplexed “Look, Trista, there are words on it! It says, “Your Hubby!” So, Trista, you’ve gotten married? Your husband must be rich! This is the flower of GREEN! A bouquet must cost at least tens of thousands? Trista, please tell me what your hubby does! So wealthy!”

I flushed when I saw Donald’s font and signed for it before I could say, “Just do some business!”

“What kind of company is it? So wealthy!” Brenda inquired.

After the flower sender had gone, other coworkers gathered around her.

“Oh my goodness, how fragrant! What a lovely sight! What a large group! Your husband is wonderful to you!”

“Yes, my husband doesn’t know romance at all! haven’t purchased mme a flower in the seven years I’ve been married!”

“At the very least, your husband will assist you with the chores. When my husband gets home from work, he stretches his legs and watches TV as he waits for me to bring dinner to the table!”

“You’re perfectly fine! I reside with my in-mother. My husbadn  always takes his mother’s side and scolds me when there is a contradiction! I would have abandoned him if it hadn’t been for the sake of the child!”

……

I listened to them discuss. after a while, and they returned to their various posts.

I took out my phone and sent Donald a text message ”  You’re making headlines! you wish everyone in the planet knew I had a hubby!”

“This is a gift for your excellent performance last night,” he explained.

what??

“It’s also punishment. don’t flit with any man in the future? The more individuals who are aware of your marriage, the better..”

When did I flit with othersThey only talked to me at the party last night?

“Did you spy on me last night?”

“I’m merely check if my shop works well.!”

“You….”

“Please do not give me flowers in the future! send them home! Because the office is so large, your flowers take up the entire space!”

“In short, don’t be so high-profile in the future!”

“denpende on my mood.”

“……”

” depends on your performance at night.” “If you don’t satisfy me, you’ll have a great surprise the next day,” he said in another profound remark.

“Scoundrel.”

Instead of paying attention to him, I continued to focus on my work. I’m not sure how long it took. Brenda gave a clap. “It’s time to leave the office! It’s finally time to eat! Why don’t we call it a day and cease eating in the canteen? Trista hasn’t eaten anywhere nearby yet! Should we go to the new steakhouse across the street?”

“Excellent!”

“I…. am not going?” I refused.

Donald has said that he would want for me to eat in his office every midday.

“Why? Do you dislike steak? There are numerous eateries nearby from which to pick! You’ve never had dinner with us before, so hurry up! You are not required to pay!”

“It’s not a question of whether or not to pay. Mr. Donald requested that I report to him every day at noon about Ms. Sylvia’s toilet cleaning….” I can only conceive of this as an excuse to temporarily obstruct it.

Brenda unexpectedly stated, “Then we’ll sit and wait for you! You report first, and we’ll call to reserve a room. We’ll be able to eat something soon!”

“Wait for you outside the door of Donald!”

“Go, go, and remember not to say Sylvia too erll! Merely say that the toilet is filthy and the rubbish has not been removed in order for us to have more free time!”

“Oh….”

I was compelled to walk to Donald’s office door, surrounded by everyone. I could only muster my bravery and knock on Donald’s office door when I saw them wink at me.

I was frightened that the aroma of the food would escape when I pushed the door in, so I quickly shut it. Except for IRA, Donald isn’t at the office.

” This is your meal. You are the only one who eats lunch at noon.”

“Ah, he out?”

He wasn’t in a good mood two days ago. He was always looking forward to having lunch with me. Why did he leave? Is there an emergency?

“I’m not going to eat anymore, IRA. My Department colleagues invited me to eat roast fish across the street. I don’t want to say no. Just let Donald know when he returns!”

“Well, enjoy yourself.”NôvelDrama.Org copyrighted © content.

“OK.”

Everyone exclaimed as I went out of the office –

“So fast?”

“Trista, did you ask Mr. Donald if Sylvia could brush the toilet for another two weeks?”

“Two weeks is insufficient; at least one month!”

I walked into the elevator, laughing and chatting with everyone. I was about to close the door when I heard a voice say, “Wait a minute….”

What a recognizable voice!

Sylvia here! What brings her here?

“I apologize for keeping you waiting!” Sylvia appeared exhausted and untidy. She hadn’t had time to change out of her cleaning clothes. With washing equipment in her hand, she appeared haggard.

“Oh, this is our Ms. Sylvia, isn’t it? I didn’t approach you right now. I couldn’t believe any of our cleaners dared to use our staff elevator!” Brenda remarked wryly.

“Do you smell a toilet odor?”

“Yes, it smells awful! If we don’t go out again, our desire to eat steak will suffer! Let’s go!”

Everyone drew me away as soon as the elevator door opened. “Wait, Trista, what did Mr. Donald say when I don’t have to wash the toilet?” Sylvia inquired.

“Wait until you wash it!” Brenda spoke first “I just got a call from Mr. Donald. He is quite upset with the sanitation of the restroom! You don’t wash very thoroughly! If you keep going like this, you’ll never want to be a minister again!”

“Did Mr. Trump really say that?” For a brief while, Sylvia’s face grew pale, “but I…. I’ve been stroking it with my heart!”

“This is due to Mr. Donald’s excellent living conditions. His house is spotless, and his office is tidy and dust-free. You, like Ms. Sylvia, have never done housework and have come to clean the toilet. Of course, the result is insufficient to satisfy Mr. Donald!”

“Brenda, please stop talking!” As soon as I tried to say something, Brenda grabbed my sleeve and hurried me away.
