Chap 111
Chapter 111 en
David’s Defense.
Freddy Kim stared at the screen. Exposed information about Samuel Ricardo, starting from his name, date of birth , and place of residence. Next, the names of his parents, his brother’s name, his education history, his work history, and the last is the day of his death.
Maybe it’s a coincidence. Exactly twelve years ago. The same date and the same month. After celebrating the birthday of his granddaughter named Elsa. Darren and Melisa also died, as a result of a car accident.
The Elder of the Kim family could not change the schedule for the memorial of the death of the parents of his three grandchildren. However, he was able to start the event earlier than usual.
So, if the funeral of the man, he didn’t want to hear his name again, was at nine in the morning. Thus, he was able to go to the grave an hour earlier than what had been scheduled. That was, at the same hour as the man’s funeral, which would most likely bring Lexi and Jessica together.
Yeah, that’s never gonna happen. He must continue to create misunderstandings between the two so that Lexi and Jessica could not live together. Yes, they would never live together!
“Why don’t we just leave at seven o’clock,” Daniel offered, who did not want a meeting between Jessica and Lexi anywhere, even in the grave.
“Departing from the apartment at half past eight and we arrived at the grave at eight over fifteen, the prayer together took only half an hour. I’m pretty sure we’re not going to see that guy’s funeral.” Freddy Kim was very confident. He didn’t like the news of Ricardo’s death. The man hadn’t even gotten any punishment for what he had done! Wasn’t he already so cruel to eliminate people’s lives on purpose!
“Well, if you think grandpa is the best.” Daniel came out of his grandfather’s room. When it comes to Samuel Ricardo, he did it quietly and secretly. He didn’t want her sister to hear about her father-in-law’s death. It could be that Jessica would cry, roaring to be able to meet with Lexi. It would never happen because the divorce papers were already in Lexi’s hands.
He quietly closed the door to his grandfather’s room. Next, he would go to his younger brother’s room. If he hadn’t told him, his brother would have told Jessica about the news of Lexi Ricardo’s death.
Knock.
Knock.
Knock.
“David!” Daniel called slowly. He didn’t want Jessica, whose bed was right next to David’s, to wake up if he banged on the door or made a loud noise.
However, David, who was still fast asleep from fatigue, did not respond because he was still exhausted.
Daniel had to call her harder and knocked on the door several times.
“Wait a minute,” David said from inside the room. His voice was hoarse and sounded angry because his sleep time was disturbed. It’s not even six in the morning.
In less than ten minutes, the door opened and Daniel forced his way in, though David only showed his head.
The older brother barged in and immediately opened the room curtain. Letting the light enter his room and David, who was now back down to continue his sleep, growled angrily.
“Can I ask you something?” Daniel, who started kissing if David had started leaning towards Jessica, asked.
“I have information about Samuel Ricardo, I will tell you but I hope you don’t tell Jessica!” Daniel said. He laid down next to his sister and looked at what was visible from the look on his face.
“What is it?” David asked, he sharpened his sense of hearing because he didn’t want to miss a single word that his brother would say.
“So, I don’t want Lexi to meet Jessica.”
“They didn’t meet, did they?” David felt that the information Daniel gave was not very important. He closed his eyes and changed his sleeping position to his back.
“Not now, but later. Lexi will come at nine o’clock at her father’s funeral and we will come at eight o’clock at the commemoration of the death of our parents,” Daniel said .This text is property of Nô/velD/rama.Org.
David was stunned by what Daniel had just said. “Who died? Didn’t I hear you wrong?” he asked his brother to make sure.
“Samuel Ricardo, he passed away yesterday, in the hospital.”
David gasped. He couldn’t imagine what’s happening to Lexi right now. What would Jessica do if she found out?
There was a long silence in the room until David was forced to express his opinion.
“Will you never stop? When are you gonna put an end to all this?” David asked for the first time in his life he did not agree with what his brother was doing.
“What do you mean, shut up. It’s between me and grandpa!” the reply that began to find out if David sided with Jessica’s union with Lexi.
“Wait a minute, let’s talk, don’t leave the room or I’ll tell Jessica everything!” David was starting to get angry.
“Yes, say it! Quickly tell me, I don’t have much time to argue!”
David swallowed and took a deep breath before giving his opinion.
“I don’t care if you want to play with Lexi. I don’t care if you want to load the young man destroyed. Just do it until you feel satisfied and feel victorious. What I don’t like is when you make Jessica cry, you don’t feel her sadness. Jessica was sad and crying because of everything her brother did to them both. Forced farewell. Divorce papers, then what else do you want. Should Jessica run away and leave us all alone then sister realizes that all this time we have never given happiness to her!” David almost screamed out of emotion.
“Then, should we let Jessica live with the person who killed our parents?” Daniel wanted to make David silent, but failed because the usually obedient little brother now dared to show his fangs.
“Now if you are in the position of dad and mom. I want to see Jessica smile. Not tortured like this. Separated from those she loved!” David got out of bed and went to the bathroom. He was tired of hearing all the excuses from his brother.
Daniel nodded, and his brother said the same thing. Then, he began to remember what had happened to Jessica lately. Her sister cried more often than she smiled.
Guilt slowly but surely crept into his heart. Several times in his mind, Jessica was crying and shedding tears. Should he give his blessing to let Lexi and Jessica be together?
Suddenly he felt very guilty.
