Chapter 95
Go Away, I’m A Billionairess Now By Evie Cole Chapter 95
Chapter 95 You Still Owe Me Something
Samara understood that a man like Chaim would be more or less conceited. But she just underestimated how Chaim conceited
could be.
After their divorce, Samara never greeted Chaim whenever she met him.
But now he said that she was playing hard to get! Ridiculous!
At the end of February, Chicago was still cold. The night wind was as sharp as a blade, and it sobered Samara just as she walked
out.
It was not worth it.
She calmed down and let out a sigh.
“Do you want a hug?”
The man’s voice came from behind her. Samara suddenly remembered that Roland hadn’t left yet.
She was stunned for a moment and looked back at Roland who was chasing after her. “Roland.”
The smile faded on Samara’s face as she seriously looked at him.
“Yes? What do you want to say?” Roland also looked back at her with a serious look.
“As you can see, Chaim doesn’t have any feelings for me. You should go to Serena if you want to get a satisfactory result.”
Chaim and Roland were sworn enemies of each other. Just after she divorced Chaim, Roland came to her and said that he wanted to pursue her.
Come on, she was no longer an eighteen–year–old. She wouldn’t be so easily deceived by a man’s blarney.
Samara had played with Roland for so long. But now, Samara suddenly felt a little bored. She was done playing games with Roland. She did not want to have anything to do with anyone related to Chaim anymore, whether it was his friends or foes.
Hearing her words, Roland suddenly said coldly, “Do you think I pursued you because of Chaim?”
“Or what?”
Samara looked at him and chuckled. “I can count the times we have met with one hand. Before I divorced Chaim, you had a
quiet playboy lifestyle.
“Roland, I’ve played long enough with you. Let go.”
“I will, Samara, but you still owe me something.”
“What thing?”
Just as Samara finished speaking and before she could react, her left hand was suddenly pulled up by Roland.
“You…”
Samara was stunned. Just as she was about to speak, Roland suddenly took off the bracelet on her wrist and said, “This is
mine.”
Samara looked at Roland, her face suddenly changed, and she looked at Roland in disbelief. “How could this be yours!”
Technically speaking, it was not a bracelet. It was a simple man’s necklace that Samara had found on her wrist after the one- night stand four years ago.
Samara had always thought that the necklace belonged to Chaim, and she cherished it a lot. Although she had divorced Chaim and decided to let go, she still could not bear to throw this necklace away.
This necklace meant something to Samara. It was not just because it belonged to Chaim but also because she wore it all the time to remind herself that she shouldn’t have met Chaim in the first place.
But now, Roland told her that this necklace belonged to him, which meant that the man who was with her four years ago was Roland, not Chaim.
Roland took back the necklace and put it on.
The bracelet that Samara had been wearing for more than three years was lying on his neck now.
Samara stood still and looked at the necklace. After a while, she said, “Are we even now?”
Roland did not say anything. He suddenly stepped closer to her until there were only about five inches between them. He looked down at her and said, “No, Samara.”
As he spoke, Roland lifted her chin and planted a kiss on her lips. After that, Roland licked the corner of his lips and said, “We will never be even, Samara,” Material © NôvelDrama.Org.
He curled his lips into a faint smile, which reached his beautiful eyes when he stared at her.
