Chapter 612 Tristan's Big Trouble (Part One)
"Mother, what's going on? Did Tristan do something?"
Carla asked, feeling quite curious as she glanced at Tristan. That being said, it looked like he couldn't
wait for the elevator to come down, so much so that he actually took the stairs instead.
Tristan was just about the same age as Carla. Right now, he was twenty-seven years old. In Carla's
mind, she was thinking that whatever it was that he did, it probably wouldn't be anything that bad.
"Carla, Tristan is the absolute worst! I can't believe it! That pea brain went ahead and slept with the wife
of the leader of a gang. Now, the leader has found out about it and has been trying to hunt him down!"
"To make things worse, this gang is really powerful. Even our family wouldn't be able to do anything
about it. He has been keeping our house under surveillance and has left no stone left unturned!"
Andrea furiously explained the situation.
Tristan was still quite immature for his age. But even so, he hadn't caused that much of a problem in
the past. Right now, it was plain to see that he had gotten himself into something so troublesome.
Carla was left utterly dumbfounded. "Mother, how on earth did this happen? Has Noah already heard
about this? What did he say?"
This was the very first time Carla had ever seen Andrea so infuriated.
It seemed that Tristan had really gotten himself caught up in deep trouble.
"Tristan messed up really bad this time. There was no way Noah wouldn't have found out about it. He
actually visited the leader of the gang himself to apologize on Tristan's behalf. Unfortunately, the leader
wasn't buying any of it. He simply said that the only way he'd let bygones be bygones is if he gets to cut
off one of Tristan's arms!"
Andrea venting out all of her anger was such a rare sight to see. It seemed that the rage she had been
trying to keep inside had finally exploded. "The leader has a powerful gang backing him up. Even Noah
has no choice but to try to stay on his good side. Tristan was seriously in the wrong when he slept with
his wife. How could anyone, let alone the leader himself, let something like that slip?"
"Callie, listen to me and listen closely. You have to promise me you're going to kick him out of your
house. The gang he messed with is by no means an ordinary one. They possess very powerful
weapons, and there's no doubt that they're dead set on making Tristan pay for what he's done. Don't
you dare let him drag you into this!"
Upon hearing that, Carla came to the sudden realization that Tristan was only here to get away from
the troubles he had made.
"Mother, I understand. Thank you for letting me know. Please don't worry. I'll take care of it myself,"
Carla said after taking in a deep breath.
As soon as she said goodbye to Andrea and wrapped up the call, she headed straight upstairs.
"Tristan, are you in there? Come out this instant! We need to talk!"
Carla went to the guest room he had been staying in, only to find out that he wasn't there. So, she
yelled out his name in the hall, calling him to come out. After not getting any sort of response from him,
Carla walked toward Sean's room and knocked on the door.
"Sean, is Tristan there with you?"
Inside the room, Sean glanced over at Tristan who trying to hide in his bed under the blanket. Shaking
his head, he said, "Tristan, you heard that, didn't you? Carla is looking for you!" Content is property of NôvelDrama.Org.
"I know! I heard it! I got it! I'm not deaf!"
Tristan replied, visibly irritated as he took his head out of the blanket and exposed his face a little.
"Well, since you heard it, why don't you go out and see her? Tristan, you were the one who told me that
a man has to own up to the things he had done no matter what. So, why are you the one hiding under
the sheets now?"
Sean tried to talk some sense into his head by using his uncle's own words.
With his body still wrapped in a blanket, Tristan stood up. Choking up his words a bit, he couldn't give
him an answer. "You're still too young to understand! It's different this time. If I were to own up to it, I
will end up dead for sure!"
Immediately after Tristan said that, the door was suddenly opened by a key from the outside.
"So, now, you're actually scared! Why didn't you stop to think about it when you were doing it, huh?"
a voice hurled at him.
It was Carla who said that. She walked in carrying a set of spare keys for the rooms in the house, with
her eyes glued to Tristan who was covered in a blanket.
Wincing a little, Tristan lowered his head and replied, "Carla, please give me a chance to explain
myself! I honestly didn't know she was married when it happened. I swear to god! I really had no idea
that her husband was...
Carla, it was just an accident! I never meant for it to happen! If I knew that beforehand, of course I
wouldn't have done it! Please believe me! It was really just an accident!"
Tristan brought it out in the open, with remorse written all over his face. Carla shot Sean a glance and
said, "Let's discuss this outside."
She didn't want Sean to misunderstand anything.
Without saying anything, Tristan got up from the bed, fixed his clothes and stepped out of the room.
"Carla, I'm begging you! Please let me stay here. I can't leave this house right now. There are watchful
eyes looking at me. That man put out word on the street. If anyone sees me out there, even if they
don't kill me, I'm sure that they're going to put me in a wheelchair for the rest of my life..."
