Chapter-16- ASHINA
Allison shrieked out of instinct and fell backward on her butts. Horrified, she looked up to see a woman looming over her standing straight and tall with a smug look on her face.
She was dressed in a black tight fitted jeans and a top. The short black jacket completed her look with raven hair curled on its ends. She looked down at Allison and smirked.
She looked familiar. Her fair complexion, full plump lips with those silver eyes makes her a walking model in the city. She was too gorgeous to be true.
"Little little baby, turned crazy, just after seeing blazy.." The woman sang with a grin.
Her words made Allison frown. Who is she? That woman extended her hand out to help her. Allison looked at it with doubt. After all, she couldn't trust anyone here. She must be one of the walkers here. "Cmon, sweetie. Your pretty little ass doesn't suit resting in our garden." the woman chirped sassily and coaxed her.
Allison darted her a weird gaze before contemplating and hesitantly grabbed her hand so as not to offend her and stood up. She can't take the risk to defy anyone here. She needed to save herself from any trouble here until she found a way to escape.
"And may I ask who left you all alone here When you are a new member in our kingdom?"
Allison kept her silence not knowing what to answer but luckily someone got her back.
"I guess you already met our Queen, Ashi." Both of them turned to see Aztec walking to them lazily with hands tucked into his slacks.
"Queen?" Ashi girl arched her perfect eyebrow at him and they seemed to be mind-linking for a minute. Allison felt awkward standing there but then Ashi turned her eyes at her and stared at her sceptically.
Her jovial expressions turned serious now as she gazed at her. She twitched her mouth and hummed.
"You look too ordinary and bland to become a Queen, sweetie." she remarked coolly.
Tsk! Allison snorted internally. 'Tell it to the brute!'
Though Allison didn't feel offended because she never had the interest of becoming a queen, more like a monster's queen or whatsoever so she just nodded simply agreeing with her.
She guessed Ashi was a little surprised by her silent gesture in response. She might have imagined Allison being offensive, hurt or even angry over this insult but Allison was unfazed by her words. Then she smirked elusively at Allison and pulled out her hand for a shake.
"Ashina Whitlock, it's good to have a human in our kingdom." there was an undeniable shine in her sparkling silver eyes which made Allison uneasy. She seemed related to Lyceon. She could sense her as a human. Allison reckoned she recognized it as soon as she smelled her scent while coming here.
'And why do they tend to poke me with the term human?' Allison sighed. Guess, people were all the same either in her pack or here. But she was grateful for being in her way only. "Ali...Allison Griffin." She shook her hand with Ashina and said humbly. Ashina moaned in protest before looking over her shoulder at Aztec.
"A wild and feisty cat would suit Lyceon better than this submissive one. Nah! I am out." Ashina grunted and turned out to take leave.
'Excuse me, woman! I don't even want to be near your Lyceon let alone getting compared with other suitors for him.' Allison peered over at Aztec feeling offended a little this time. "Appearance can be delusive, Ashi." Aztec smirked looking at Allison to which she snorted. She didn't like their open conversation about her existence.
"Don't throw my phrases back on me, Beta boi." Ashina muttered before flicking her hair from her face back. Aztec chuckled.
"Don't tempt me to make a big bet this time?" Aztec smirked.
"Tsk! You claim that she would tame our mighty King who can kill the army of people with his claws without any ounce of twitch on his face? Is that so?" Ashina slowly turned her eyes at her and raised her brows questionably, expecting any response from Allison. 'Alright! I wanna get out of here now!' Allison muttered in mind.
"I can guess!" Aztec shrugged his shoulders before winking at Allison. Ashina laughed looking at her up and down, making her uncomfortable.
"We will see! Anyways, It's been a tiring trip for me to patrol the city for the whole week. So I longed for a good rest before dinner." She interjected, looking at Aztec. "When will Rebecca's turn over?" Aztec asked her about another girl.

"Perhaps in three days. Imma going to the club tomorrow, come if you want!" She yelled at Aztec before wandering off. Aztec snorted at her.Property © of NôvelDrama.Org.
"It still has twenty-four hours for Lyceon to know that, you know.." He shouted back, warning her. But she showed her middle finger to him without turning back and kept walking into the mansion. She seemed too daring who seemed unafraid of that lethal monster.
"Who is she?" Allison asked Aztec finally because she felt a little comfortable around him. Aztec illustrated himself as unassuming and easy around her to give her the reason to open up a bit.
"She is the cocky sister of our King. But don't mess with her blindly. She has a taste of her brother's to give." Aztec warned her, grinning. Allison nodded warily.
After all, she was the lycaness princess. The brother-sister duo disconcerted her already on her first day.
"The pack members came back already. You need to get back to the mansion. You will be having dinner with all of us tonight." Aztec informed Allison. Surge of apprehension erupted inside her. She didn't want to face more walkers. But she followed him inside the mansion silently.
Did she have a choice? No!
"And don't get offended by Ashina's words. She is the least offender girl in the kingdom, all I can say!" Allison looked at his mysterious features and frowned in worry at his words. It unsettled her. Oh! Are there others too?
She ignored him and headed to the left wing. Before going upstairs she heard Aztec letting out to her, "And Don't get uncomfortable or dazzled by them at the dinner."
