Mated To Who?
I shook my head, saying to myself, “Herdy, you have to know who you are mated to, right now!” I never really knew what prompted that though, but I understood I had three women close to me, and they were queens.
My eyes blinked repeatedly, so I felt I was going to fall asleep soon. I wouldn’t allow that – there had to be a great war to fight, a grand victory to gain, and a glorious reward to attain.
“Auhh!” I heard her yawn.
Diana was by my side, but she was already asleep. Her hairs rested on my laps and I also felt the touch of her skin, making me feel comfortable instead of troubled. I wanted her near me, and at the same time, I didn’t forget how my love life was spent with the other two queens, Alliana and Clara.
Was I fated to the three of them?
Soon, I shook my head again, but no thought was coming forth. I didn’t walk to talk, so I wouldn’t wake Diana up – we had spent all the day together, looking for Diliuni victims.
“How happy I am…” I said, breaking the silence. I moved by eyeballs around my socket to realise why I said that – was I falling asleep too?
Diana only changed her position of sleeping; she didn’t wake up yet, and her body was becoming quite uneasy for my laps to carry. I stretched my feet at length to show how exacted I was, and kissed her on the chin.
“Huh!” She said, unconsciously.
“Wake up!” I exclaimed, expecting her to shift right to the bed, away from my laps, at least.
“Herdy, what’s wrong?” Diana asked, as she stretched out her arms and moved to the bed.
As I heard my name without the Alpha title, I knew she had to be angry with me. “Sorry, Diana… can we discuss?”
“By now?” She asked, in reply.
“Yes.” I answered, deliberately speaking in low voice. “I want us to talk about the people of Diliuni. I am curious to know what is going on around the far country those people were stolen to…”
“A far country?” She asked suddenly, raising her head from the bed. Whatever concerned Diliuni, concerned her.
“Huh!” I sighed. “Wait, I have a question troubling my mind since we’ve known each other…”
Was Diana the Queen of the sea? Diliuni, being the sea of the greatest goddesses, was not only her origin, but also her place of utmost concern and interest.
“What’s that, Herdy?” She asked me, squatting and ready to listen. I instructed her to sit and listen calmly to me. “Why do you have so much passion for the Diliunis?”
“Very deep…” she remarked, clanging her teeth, and raising her eyelids with a form of lustful display. I was thinking she wanted us to have a love game again, but I wasn’t ready for that – I wanted to know who I was really mated to, and who was indeed the Sea Queen.
“No reply, Diana?” I asked, smiling to make her feel better to give me a response.
“You see, Diliuni people were mistreated by some bandits long ago,” she started, to. my surprise as she rubbed my laps. “I have been trying and working tirelessly to make sure they are safe – even now, enemy beasts and demons still attack them.”
“It’s actually saddening on that part!” I exclaimed, as I held her right hand, which was getting to a sensitive part of my body while I flinched. “Hold on, let’s talk first, Diana!” I shouted again, and continued. “I have a sincere pity for them, but I’m curious to know about the issue of fire and water too…”
“That is me!” She interrupted, her eyes bulging out with clarity and strange confidence. “I am the Queen of fire and water…”
“The Sea Queen?” I returned, not letting her finish her words, as well. “Are you the Diliuni Queen of the Sea?”
“So, since the beginning of our journey together, you didn’t know me?” Diana reverted, almost getting angry with me, that she stopped groping my laps and hailed herself, “I am the Queen of the sea, the Diliuni mother of fire and water, meant to be mated to the Alpha of Lychillus…”
“We are meant to be together?” I reiterated, nearly collapsing and my voice dropping low. “I really knew that since, but why did you choose to be a ball of fire in that magical system?” I asked her, expecting a straight response.
“Water kills fire.” Diana replied, blinking her eyes and turning to my laps again. “And, whenever fire does not destroy a heavy thing, water is needed. I use these two things to destroy the Diliunis’ enemies.”
“Hmm…” I kept thinking on what she said, and I held my finger to my lower lips, my tongue rolling up and down in my mouth for surprise, and awe for her. “Hail the Queen of the Sea!” I praised her, laughing very loudly.Belonging © NôvelDram/a.Org.
Returning the appraisal with a smile, she said, “I also hail the fortunate Herdy, her mate forever…”
“So, what of Clara, Alliana and the likes of them?” I asked another question, but tried to clarify the meaning to her. “I mean, aren’t they Queens? And, are they water-powered too, or water-resistant?”
“Clara is a medical Queen; Alliana is the foreign Queen of Morrasta, whom you first loved…” Diana explained, but stopped at my interruption.
“How did you know that?” I asked her, shocked at her reply – Alliana wasn’t that close to her, so I didn’t hope Diana would know we were first lovers.
“I was strengthened when I returned from the Diliuni seashore!” Diana replied, hawling and I knew she was trying to praise herself.
“Hail the Queen!” I said, smiling again as I began to enjoy the sensation of her hands on my body.
“Who fits you best in beauty?” She suddenly asked, as her hands reached my both side chins.
“You, Diana…” I answered. “No one else, aside you, my Queen.”
