Reckless Marriage Unyielding Love

Chapter 131

Chapter 131

After a long day, Mikayla grew drowsy in the jacuzzi. In the end, she fell asleep.

Not knowing whether it was a dream or reality, she seemed to feel a warm embrace and opened her eyes to check. It was Carlos. Unfortunately, she was too sleepy that she fell asleep again. She had no idea if it was real or a dream. In the end, she did not bother to care. Carlos refused to touch her anyway. Mikayla smiled in her sleep as she thought so.

The next day. The sunlight outside the window shone in the large room through the swaying curtains.

On the soft bed, Mikayla moved her body. After a deep night's sleep, she felt as if she had been reborn. She rolled on the big bed for a while before realizing that she was not in her previous room.

She did not observe the decoration in the unfamiliar room last night. Only now did she have time to see them. The refreshing white alternated with grey, but it was not dull. The furnishing was similar in the same place as everything in her old room, except for a slight color difference and the existence of men's supplies.

There were some festive things in the room.

When she lifted the quilt, Mikayla noticed she was wearing an extra set of pajamas. It was pink and wrinkled. She did not remember buying the pajamas.

In her memory, she seemed to be in a bath last night and felt drowsy after a while.

Mikayla felt her face burning as she pondered, 'Wait, last night wasn't a dream? Did Carlos take me out of the bathtub and back to bed? Damn, why did I fall asleep last night? Forget it! It's only a matter of time before it happens.'

Mikayla got up and went to the bathroom to wash up.

In front of the glass mirror, Mikayla's beautiful face was rosy. Her lips were red and her teeth were white. She looked like she had a good sleep. She picked up a new toothbrush and squeezed the toothpaste.

Everything here was strange yet familiar. Many things were the brands and flavors she usually used, but they were not moved from the Salvatore manor. Carlos' thoughtfulness surprised her. He had purchased them according to her habit and preference.

They had just gotten their marriage certificate two days before their wedding, and she had asked him when she could move her stuffs over. He replied that she did not need to move her clothes or other simple things except her dowry and the jewelry she particularly liked.

It turned out that he had prepared everything for her. She felt a warm feeling for no reason.Content is © by NôvelDrama.Org.

After washing up, Mikayla looked around the room and wondered where the wardrobe was. However, she saw a casual outfit and a new set of underwear at the head of the bed, which she had ignored earlier.

'How long did this man stay in this room last night? He even prepared clothes for me,' Mikayla pondered.

When she lowered her head and took off her clothes, she found an obvious hickey on her neck. Mikayla thought, 'Jeez!'

Carlos left a hickey on her while she was unprepared.

Mikayla got changed decisively. After all, she did not even wear underwear when she slept last night, so going out like this was no different from being naked.

After changing her clothes, she tied her hair into a high bun and ran out to find Carlos. As soon as she opened the door, she hit someone.

Carlos wore a tight casual outfit instead of his usual suit. He looked restrained and low-key.

"Carlos, what... what did you do to me last night?" Mikayla asked in irritation.

Carlos underestimated her. He should have at least asked for her permission, even though she might not agree.

Carlos looked innocent and as he replied flatly, "Did you see it? I didn't do anything except for that hickey."

If it had not been for the tenderness of her flesh, the good feeling on his mouth, and he did not control his strength well, he could have done it quietly without leaving any evidence. It was a pity.

"You! You seem quite aggrieved..." Mikayla looked at him with disdain, thinking how shameless he was.

"Why don't I pay you back for what I did with your body? Why don't you do to me what I've done to you? I'd be willing." Carlos raised his beautiful eyebrows.

"Carlos, you're shameless!" Carlos drove Mikayla crazy. Good etiquette and good manners were nothing at this point.

"Okay, Mika. Now that you're awake, go downstairs for breakfast. Anyway, I have countless nights to make it up to you..." Carlos changed the subject gently.

"Carlos, can you be serious for a moment?" Mikayla followed him downstairs.

"Mika, we're married now. You can't dislike and avoid me!" Carlos replied.

Mikayla was speechless.

It was already nighttime when she came here last night, so she did not see many things. It was now daytime, and the whole mansion looked much brighter than it did at night. It also made people feel much better.

Carlos led her into a beautiful glass greenhouse with a long table, which was obviously a dining place. Smelling the fragrance of flowers and enjoying excellent lighting, one could not help but have an appetite.

Just then, a middle-aged man came over with a serving cart.

Carlos sat down with Mikayla. Then, they watched the middle-aged man place the breakfast on the dining table. There was a wide range

"Mrs. Ludwig!" Dexter nodded respectfully.

He was the first person to call Mikayla Mrs. Ludwig. The title was unfamiliar to her. Mikayla nodded in response. Dexter in front of her looked about 40 years old and well-mannered.

"I seldom return to Xosa these years, and Dexter has always been around me, taking care of me. But Dexter is very capable and can take care of our daily life. If you think it's

inconvenient or want to hire a few more housekeepers, you can do so,"

Carlos explained.

"It doesn't matter. It's fine! But will his workload increase now that I'm here?" Mikayla looked at the exquisite breakfast in front of her and was impressed that Dexter alone prepared them.

Carlos helped her with the meal as he said lightly, "Mika, you have to trust Dexter."

"I don't like too many people either. If Dexter can handle it alone, we don't have to hire another one for the time being!" Mikayla said.

"Okay," Carlos replied before saying to Dexter, "You can leave."

"Yes, Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig!" Dexter nodded slightly and left with the serving cart.

Mikayla glanced at Dexter's back, thinking the people who could stay with Carlos were not so simple.
