Chapter 815 Recover
Chapter 815 Recover
Finn didn't even recognize her at the first glimpse. But soon he realized that she must be that dirty-
looking girl.
But she still looked a bit bashful and didn't dare to look at him.
She hid herself behind the table and peeked. Finn looked at her with a smile.
She didn't walk over until about one minute later.
She could tell that Finn would do no harm to her. She came over and leaned on the vat to look at his
body soaking in the medicine liquid.
"You are not afraid of me now?" Finn asked softly.
But the girl still kept silent. After watching for quite a while, she seemed to give up as if she failed to
notice something she wanted.
"You are here to see him?" Sienna's voice sounded from the door.
The girl seemed to be frightened and she hurried to hide herself behind the vat. She didn't dare to look
at Sienna straightly.
"You still don't have the courage to see me? Why?" she seemed to ask the girl. But Finn still had no
idea what she meant.
"Forget it. I won't push you. I am okay with that if you can just stay here with me."
After saying that, Sienna put down the basket filled with herbal medicine at the corner. Then she
started to work on it.
Obviously, Sienna looked like a girl growing up in the forest. The nature brought her up since she was a
kid. She looked pure and unique just like the natural landscape.
But Finn didn't think so. He could tell that Sienna was not just a girl growing up in the nature as she
was so powerful in martial skills. Besides, Finn still remembered that she was dressing in gorgeous
evening dress when he met her for the first time.
So perhaps she was probably born in a prestigious but mysterious family.
But it was just a mere assumption of her identity. Finn still had no idea why she talked to that girl hiding
behind like that as if she were a grown one.
Perhaps the girl was much older than he expected. Or perhaps she lost her memory because of some
kind of illness.
But he still knew nothing about it.
Finn came out of the vat at the night of the third day of his arrival while Sienna was standing beside.
Finn was a bit awkward as he was sitting cross-legged in the vat nakedly. If he simply stood up like
that, his naked body would be exposed in the air in front of her.
So he hesitated at the thought of that.
"Don't waste my time! It was I who stripped you off! I have seen every single part of your body. Stand
up right now! Let me see if you have absorbed all the medicine."
Hearing that, Finn had to stand up since she said so.
Though Sienna claimed that she didn't care, her face still went blushed while Finn was standing behind Content held by NôvelDrama.Org.
her.
Now there was only mere scent left in the vat. The essence inside the liquid was mostly absorbed into
his body and part of it subsided at the bottom.
Sienna scooped it and sniffed. Then she said, "If you need it next time, you can dilute it a bit according
to your need. But well, I still suggest that you should not try it as it only does harm to you."
Finn was so grateful to this lady whom he only met for once. But there was still a question lingering in
his mind. He hesitated and still asked, "Why do you help me?"
Sienna paused and stopped what she was doing. Then she looked at him, "Because you offer her food
and water. That is the reason."
Finn had never expected that that could be her answer.
Then Sienna continued, "Okay, since you have recovered, you don't need to stay here any longer. You
can leave at night." She said straightforwardly. It seemed that she didn't even want him to stay for one
night longer.
Seeing that the sky started to turn dark, what was worse, he was surrounded by remote mountains, he
deemed her decision a bit unreasonable.
"Can I leave tomorrow?" Finn asked.
Sienna threw him a suit of clothes and she shook her head, "No."
Looking at her face, he tried to break the ice between them with joke. However, her face still remained
serious.
But Finn still couldn't believe it. He assumed that perhaps she would then smile and told him that it was
just a joke.
However, when he stood on the mountain trail with his back to Sienna's house, he finally noticed that
she was so cold-blooded. Though she looked attractive, she actually acted in an unreasonable way.
But he could do nothing about it as Sienna could easily defeat him.
So he had no choice but to leave.
The forest was soon covered with darkness. He had no idea where he was. But he still tried to go down
the mountain.
It was hard for him to make his way through the forest. He could barely see the trail under the
moonlight. So he could only fumble forward.
When he reached some of the steep parts of the trail, he saw there paved with slabstone. Perhaps it
was Sienna who did it to make it flat to walk on. But it still took him quite a lot of effort to get down the
mountain.
He reached into his pocket and there was only his car key given by Sienna when he left. She told him
that his car was parked at a parking lot at the foot of the mountain.
He didn't even have energy left to complain. As he was about to move on, a beam of flashlight came
from afar.
He looked over confusedly, wondering why there were people climbing mountain at such late hours.
He stood there for a while and then those people approached.
There were four of them and all of them were men carrying backpack. It seemed that they were just
common visitors. However, it was still quite strange that they went hiking in the mountain at night.
Finn looked at them from head to toe with confusion.
When those people saw him, they were also rendered startled. When they were sure that it was a man
standing right in front of them, they finally breathed a sigh of relief.
"Hey, buddy, what are you doing here?" a man with beard asked.
"I was driven out up there." He answered honestly.
"And what are you guys doing? Why do you come to climb the mountain at such late hours?"
Then another man wearing glasses replied, "We are here to camp so as to see the sunrise the next
morning. But we don't want to stay in the mountain for a whole day so we come at night."
Though Finn wasn't sure if they were telling the truth, it still sounded a bit convincing.
"Well, just continue your trip. Oh, by the way, how long will it take till I reach the foot of the mountain? Is
it far away from the parking lot?"
Hearing that, the man with beard replied while looking at him confusedly, "We started to climb at 3:00
PM and now it's 9:00 PM."
Looking at the dark and endless forest ahead, Finn became so desperate.
He couldn't help holding grudge against Sienna.
"How could she just simply make me stay in the mountain at night! What a cold-blooded woman!"
But Sienna wouldn't hear about his complaint at this moment.
While worried, he heard the man with beard continue, "Hey, buddy, what about going with us to enjoy
the sunrise the next morning? And we can go down the mountain together tomorrow after that."
Thinking for a while, Finn deemed it acceptable. So he nodded.
Then he joined their team while asking their names on the way up to the mountain top.
