Shaping Ghost’s Future
A glint past by Mahogany’s eyes as she felt a burst of motivation and resolve.
All her life…. she had loved and did everything humanly possible to be with Knight Cyrus but it seems all her efforts had gone into the drain for knight never considered her.
“Somebody….” Just with that sentence that came out hoarse and unclear…. Her throat seems as if it was about to tear into pieces.
She was so weak as she felt a numbing headache as she called out very weakly.
“I will say it… Somebody!! Who’s there??” Mahogany used the least bit of her strength to shout and just then, a clicking sound of the door was heard and it was pushed open.
A guard walked in.
Mahogany felt funny whenever the guards came In To deliver her food, She could not see any light even when the door open and the guard comes in, it was as if the place outside the door was also dark.
And she also wonders how the guards come in and be able to trace her while she couldn’t make out their movements even when her eyes were wide opened in the dark.
“What’s your problem old lady??!” The guard’s impatient voice rang out as he felt annoyed by the old woman who was Always giving them headaches.
“I. i want to confess something to Liam!! I’m ready to speak the truth now!” Mahogany cried out as she felt so angry for letting herself be deceived by that snake, Knight.
The guard stood there for a moment before walking out of the room and mahogany immediately shouted in pain.
“Come back here! I said I want to confess.!!” Mahogany felt stuffed up.
Was it a sin to confess now??
If she doesn’t confess, she would remain here and now that she wants to confess…
She was being ignored!!
Mahogany gritted her teeth in fury while cursing at knight underneath her breath..
“Bastard..!”
The Guard came out of the room and walked towards the end of the passage and slowly came out of the dungeon.
Another guard took over from him as the guard moved away from the place with his hands fiddling with his phone.
Twenty dialed Phoenix’s number and it was answered after few rings.
Phoenix cold voice came from the side “Go on!”
Twenty swallowed as he tried to keep his tone neutral.
After Alexander he feared, it was Phoenix!
Phoenix was like the younger and junior version of Alexander when it comes to oppression, glaring and carrying a very distant and cold threatening tone.
“Um she-the old lady says she wants to confess!” Twenty said as his eyes roamed around to ease his nervousness.
He suddenly wished that twenty five and twelve were here, he would have easily pass the phone to them and fled for his life. This text is property of Nô/velD/rama.Org.
Phoenix said after a while “let her be there for now, I’ll be there in two days!”
“Sir what if she changes her mind and refuse to talk after now!!??” Twenty raised a brow as he asked consciously, afraid of pissing him off.
Phoenix smirked from the other side as he crossed both legs with a composed face, his back on the couch of Alexander’s sitting room.
He mostly spend time in Alexander’s house more than in his house.
And his wife was just enjoying the company of her mother who came for a visit.
And he felt ignored by her!
He knew Alexander so well so he always made himself available so Alexander wouldn’t go out of control and barge into the city for a killing spree.
Because if that idea was to pop up in Alexander’s head, it was going to be so bloody and would be at the top of all platforms headlines.
“What made her want to talk now?? Isn’t because of the predicament she found herself in?? inside the catalyst web??…” Phoenix snorted “let her be in there for I’m certain she would have lied to my face if I come now… let her enjoy a little bit inside the web before I come to address her but before then…,, go on with the usual routine!”
Twenty swallowed hard and saluted before ending the call and he turn towards the building to have lunch.
Poor mahogany, she didn’t even know when it’s morning or evening!!
Twenty made a mental note to himself never to betray the gang….
Else he wasn’t sure if he was that strong to contain with Phoenix talk more of the Don.
Alexander Ron!
Eastern land….
Ghost’s heart pounded in his chest as he stood across from Alexander, a few feet separating them. The weight of the situation pressed heavily on Ghost, and he couldn’t help but feel a rising sense of urgency. His frightened state had even led him to consider the embarrassing possibility of wetting his pants in front of Alexander.
Alexander, with a commanding presence, remained seated on the couch. His gaze was fixed upon Ghost, his eyes piercing and cold. Ghost could only imagine the thoughts racing through Alexander’s mind. The silence in the room accentuated the tension, causing Ghost to feel increasingly vulnerable.
For Ghost, it felt as though this day was the culmination of all his fears and regrets. He believed that he had sealed his fate the moment he left Amelia at the columbarium. Every step he had taken since then only served to reinforce his conviction that death awaited him. The weight of guilt and the fear of retribution hung heavily upon his shoulders.
He had never been so stupid and clumsy before!
Ghost couldn’t continue running forever. He had always known that the day would come when Alexander would summon him. That day had arrived, and there was no escaping the consequences of his actions. The realization of this inevitability only intensified Ghost’s anxiety, fostering a sense of impending doom.
Phoenix was sitting not too far from them as he also watch the whole thing without uttering a word.
His presence could be hardly sensed in the tensed room.
As Ghost stood there, his head hung low, he summoned the courage to meet Alexander’s gaze. He was determined to face whatever judgment awaited him. The room seemed to close in around him, the air thick with anticipation. Ghost’s mind raced, searching for words that could somehow mitigate the severity of his transgressions.
Alexander remained silent, his expression unreadable. It was as if he held all the power in that moment, his judgment capable of shaping Ghost’s future. Ghost’s throat felt dry, making it difficult for him to speak. But he knew he had to face his accuser, no matter how intimidating the situation appeared.
Taking a deep breath as he said nervously…..
