The Divorcee and Her Three Chaotic Children (Olivia Clarke and William)

Chapter 210

Chapter 210

With a click, the door in front of her was opened from the outside.

Olivia took a step back subconsciously and gasped.

Johnathan was so fast that he swooshed here from the yard?!

“Olivia!”

“William, why are you here?”

“Let’s get out of here.” William did not answer her question. Instead, he took her hand and ran all the

way north of the castle.

Olivia was a little confused, but she did not say anything in the end. She tried her best to run along

William.

William took her to a room on the north side of the first floor. He opened the door and went straight in.

Just as Olivia was about to ask William why he had brought her here, she saw him press a switch on

the antique painting. At the same time, the wall the painting was on slid, revealing an entrance.

“There’s actually a secret pa**age here?”

“Yes, I designed it.”

“Huh?” That was simply amazing.

She had never heard Old Mr. Kinsman mention it before.

William held Olivia’s hand and walked all the way out of the castle through the secret pa**age.

Marshall was already waiting at the exit. As soon as he saw them, he immediately took them to the car.

Meanwhile, as soon as they left, Johnathan arrived at the basement.

He returned because of an SOS from Felix.

When he learned that Felix had acted rashly, he was furious.

When Johnathan arrived at the basement and saw Felix lying on the ground covered in blood, his face

instantly darkened.

Monstrous anger surged in his deep-set eyes.

“I told you, Felix,” said Johnathan, “leave the castle to Olivia tonight. And here you are.”

Soon, he neared Felix.

“You wanted to kill her?”

He was extremely irritable, and the cane in his hand was already glimmering.

Felix was so scared that he was trembling all over.

“It was not like that, Mr. Kinsman. I was just here to tell Miss Clarke that you really like her.”

Felix used all his strength to grab the hem of Johnathan’s trousers and pleaded desperately.

Just then, when he was lying there all alone, left to die, he came up with a plan due to his will to

survive.

Felix had long known how Johnathan would react when he found out he had returned without

permission.

“Oh?” Johnathan lowered his deep-set eyes. He obviously didn’t believe what Felix said.

“I told Miss Clarke that I wanted to kill her because you really fell in love with her. I wanted to get rid of

her in order to prevent you from having a weakness.”

“She believed you?” Johnathan suddenly became interested.

“I don’t know if she believed it or not, but everything I did was for you. Moreover, the injuries on my

body were all caused by Miss Clarke. I know that you care about Miss Clarke, so I didn’t fight back at

all. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have been injured like this…”

Felix expressed that all he did was for Johnathan.

He poured out his heart to Johnathan.

Johnathan put away his cane and eyed Felix. After a long time, he finally showed a cheeky smile.

“That’s true. Your injuries do seem to be Olivia’s deeds. Didn’t I tell you that she’s great? You didn’t

believe me, do you? I

told you.”

Johnathan sighed, and when he mentioned Olivia, he sounded a little proud.

“Okay. I’ll trust you just this once. Call the doctor to treat you.”

“Thank you, Mr. Kinsman!” Felix sounded grateful, but he secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

Johnathan turned around and went upstairs, while the bodyguards behind him helped Felix up.

Johnathan took a few steps and suddenly turned around. He looked at Felix and ordered. “By the way,

get me the CCTV footage of the castle. I want to see what Olivia has done here.”

When he received the signal from Felix and rushed back just now, Johnathan had thought that it would

be more fun if he could catch Olivia red-handed.

However, when he arrived, Olivia was nowhere to be seen.

What a pity. He clearly remembered that Olivia was still around when he entered the courtyard.

She was fast.

“Yes, Mr. Kinsman.”

Meanwhile, Olivia followed William into the car that was heading back to town.

She took out her phone and texted Gideon telling him to retreat. Then, she put it away and endured the

frigid atmosphere in the car.

Ever since William had taken Olivia out of the castle through the secret pa**age, although he had been Content from NôvelDr(a)ma.Org.

holding her hand tightly, he had never spoken again. Moreover, Olivia always felt that William looked a

little unhappy.

The awkward atmosphere made her uncomfortable all over.

“William, why were you here in the castle?” After thinking for a while, Olivia decided to break the

silence.

“I was looking for you.”

“Errm… I was just curious about the castle, so I went in to check it out.”

“Do you think I’ll believe you?”

“Well, okay, I suspect that Johnathan has something to do with the death of Old Mr. Kinsman, so I went

to investigate. But it seems that he found out about it a long time ago, so I came there for nothing.”

The people in the castle had been evacuated, and Gianna was defending Johnathan with lies.

It was obvious that it had been reh ear sed in advance. They simply waited for her to take on the “room

tour” of the castle.

“I know you want to avenge Old Mr. Kinsman, Olivia, but Johnathan is dangerous. Can you stay away

from him?”

William was a little angry but still, he sounded rarely gentle.

“Why aren’t you surprised at all, William?”

“Hmm?”

“I said, I suspect that Johnathan is involved. Why aren’t you surprised at all? It’s like…

“You’ve known it for a long time, haven’t you?” Olivia thought for a while and quickly came to that

conclusion.

She thought. “That’s right. William is very capable. I’m afraid he’s known everything about Johnathan

the moment the latter set foot on Melburgh.

“But why didn’t William respond long ago? Did I guess wrong?”

William looked gloomy and remained silent for a while.

“I also suspect him, but I haven’t found any real evidence yet, so I will continue to investigate this

matter.”

“Then let’s do this together!” Olivia immediately made up her mind.

“No, as I said, he’s too dangerous. I don’t want you to be in danger.”

“I don’t want you to be in danger either. It’s better to fight side by side than to fight alone!”

Olivia firmly expressed her attitude. She was worried that William would be such a male chauvinist to

investigate Old Mr. Kinsman’s incident without her.

Flustered, she blushed a little.

William was stunned when he heard that. Then, he looked at her in a daze and suddenly smiled

charmingly.

Even his gloomy and obscure eyes just then turned into a starry sky,

He stretched out his slender fingers and gently pinched her rosy cheek.

“You heartless girl, are you caring about me now?”
