The Last Ceo’s Deal

Stamped in my heart

Christine.

I sat nervously and stared around the huge milky coloured sitting room in awe.

A beautiful maid smiled politely at me and informed me of Kayla’s arrival while she placed a tray of juice beside me.

A huge chandelier hung proudly in the room with beautiful tiny white bulbs to compliment the brightness that sparkled in the room.

Kayla descended the stairs with a huge smile plastered on her face as she approached me.

“I never knew your idea of being smart was awesome, I’m glad you’re alive.”

She said and sat down taking the juice before me to drink

“I don’t understand.” I finally found my voice.

She was really beautiful. Tall with Blonde hair, hips that accentuate her figure and big brown puppy eyes.

“You mistook my idea of being smart and taking over by signing your husband C…”

“I didn’t do it.” I hissed.

“I thought as much, Alex really stepped on his game really hard this time.”

I frowned.

“You know Alex?”

“Who doesn’t, Fanuel’s most hated enemy since childhood.”

“Why is he bent on destroying him?”

“You know, cats and dogs can never be friends no matter how they try.. so it’s really cliche for them.”

“So how do you know about my status with Fanuel?” I asked curiously but an amused smile stretched the edges of her lips.

“Cause it’s so obvious! You’re just being controlled, used for some purpose that’s not your fault. I’ve been there before.”

“You were married to Fanuel?”

“No dummy, to someone else but with the same status. But Look at me today, it’s from the trenches to treasure.”

“You want me to take advantage of Fanuel as his wife and squander his money?”

“I will really give you credit for your smartness girl.”

“Jeez Kayla!! That would brand me as a thief, it will. make no difference from my father.”

“It’s different!! You’re just a victim of an ugly mess created by your dad. I bet you had nothing when you were thrown into that mansion, imagine if everything expires now; you will be thrown out to that same trenches with absolutely nothing!!”

“So what do want me to do?”

“Claim the contract you signed.” I gasped in horror.

“How?”

“Make Fanuel change the company’s owner to yours. I mean the will stating that he’s the owner of Hudson’s will automatically be directed to you as the owner.”

“You’re crazy!” I slammed.

“Craziness got me the lavish lifestyle I’m living today. I just did a few touching and edits to the idiots document and boom!!”

I bit my lips hard and stare at her in anger, I can’t believe this is what I wasted my time to hear.

“I can’t do that.”

“Then perish!”

“What do you mean by that?”

“You’re still so naive that you don’t know who Fanuel Hudson is; that guy will never give a fuck about you. You’re just another piece of commodity he needs to save his name and commodity. It’s more worse cause he would do anything to save his father’s name and put you in front of his mess.”Property © NôvelDrama.Org.

“Is this your idea of standing up for myself and fighting for power?”

“Exactly!! You can only stand up for yourself with affluence and wealth.

Take over the company and cause a scene on the media to support you. You already have fans without doing anything how much more doing something more glossy.”

“You’re crazy!”I say taking my bag and shaking my head in disbelief.

“Fanuel will shove down my throat into the grave before I even think of standing to claim anything, besides I have a conscience.”

“Fear is one weakness that will crush you even before you start, you need toss it aside.”

“I’ll rather toss away greed and foolishness that will lead me to my doom!! What your take in this? I believe you won’t give such a sweet advise for free.”

“I don’t need Fanuel’s money Christine, I’m only helping someone that was once in my state. You’re just too beautiful and fragile to be ignored.”

“Wow how generous of you! Thanks darling.” I replied sarcastically and took to my heels.

“You’re in love with him, aren’t you?” I momentarily freeze at the rubbish she vomited and turn to stare at her.

“You care about him, if not you won’t banter words or argue about having your fair share of Fanuel’s Hudson’s wealth.”

“I’m not in love with that douchebag, I don’t need to love anybody to prove my dignity and manners. It might not feed me but I will have my sanity and peace of mind in check. Continue squandering millions that’s not yours and expect karma to be nice to you.”

I shook my head in total disbelief and went out. I thought she was going say something to ease my burning heart but she spewed trash like a psycho wanting me to do the abominable.

I sighed in dissapointment and closed my eyes as the air conditioner from the car hit me.

Fanuel was so many things but stealing from him was totally out of it.

I could render another person’s hardwork useless or make it go down the drain just because he did something to me.

I stepped down from the car and hurriedly entered the mansion to take off this heavy gown when I saw Diana seated comfortably on the sofa.

I didn’t know how to describe this irritating feeling churning from the pit of my stomach but I faked a smile at her.

“Dee.”

“Christine, you’re glowing!” She exclaimed and I rolled my eyes turning my back to her to unzip my dress which she did voluntarily.

“Are you mocking me? You and I know that I look like shit.”

“How have you been.”

“In hell.”

She chuckled.

“Fanuel called me to check up on you, which I found really weird. After you went viral yesterday, I was literally confused and scared for you.”

“I know, I’m still shocked too.”

“But you seem okay, did he hit you or something.” She asked to check every part of my skin and I found that suspicious.

“Did Fanuel said he hit me?”

“Nope, I know Fanuel was definitely not going to take it easy on you. Everyone knew that, even Jay and Edward came over to confirmed that.”

“They came over?” I asked in shock.

How come I didn’t notice their presence?

“He beat you up didn’t he?” She asked after observing my confusion and nodded in defeat.

“Christine can you remember the name of Company that coerced you into signing the contract? Did you see face of the guy or someone else?”

I thought hard and close my eyes trying to remember the guy that literally forced and showed me blank places to sign with the gesture of his hands.

He had purposely covered some parts of the documents so I had blindly signed.

His face was stamped in my heart! How could I forget such person that tricked me to into signing a doom?

I stared at at Diana and shook my head negatively.

“I really can’t remember.”
