Chapter 64
Chapter 64
Hearing Cecilia’s audacious words, they burst into laughter.
“Kiddo, are you an adult? Have you got your driver’s license yet?”
“Just because you’re wearing a racing suit doesn’t mean you’re a racer. Do you know how to drive?”
“This is not a place for you to play. Go back to where you come from.”
“It’s okay if you don’t want to leave. We’ll show you how to race and treat you to dinner.”
Cecilia looked at the group of men who were too confident in themselves and sneered.
“It’s boring to treat me to dinner. Let’s try something new,” said Cecilia.
Her words sounded ambiguous, and the men’s gazes suddenly turned obscene.
“I didn’t expect that coming from a young lady like you. How do you want to have some fun, huh?”
“We’re at the racing track, so naturally we’ll be racing. If you win, I will do anything you want. If I win-”
Before Cecilia could finish, a man laughed and interrupted her, “Do you know how many years I’ve
been racing and how many prizes I get? It’s impossible for you to beat me!”
Someone else chimed in, “That’s right. Harold’s skills are among the best. He’s just slightly below Mr.
Yancey.”
Hearing that, Harold raised his chin with an arrogant look.
“I’m not going to bully you. Let’s race ten laps. As long as you are no more than one lap behind me,
you win.”
Looking at the arrogant man, Cecilia’s smile widened.

“Sure. Let’s talk about your punishment once I’ve won.”
Harold did not think he would lose. He asked casually, “Tell me.”
Cecilia suggested, “If I win, you will drive a utility vehicle on the racing track for ten days. How about
that?”
The racing track was large and provided many sightseeing vehicles to serve the customers and higher-
ups.
It would be extremely humiliating for a racer to drive a utility vehicle.
There was a look of unease on Harold’s face. However, thinking that he would not lose, he ignored it.
He coughed slightly and said, “If you lose, you will drink with us tonight.”
As for the matter after drinking, he did not say a word.
Cecilia agreed, “Okay. Give me ten minutes. I’ll pick a car.”
She did not want to use her car because those people were not worthy of it.
There were a lot of people racing, but not everyone could afford to buy a race car. Most of them rented
cars from the racing track.
Cecilia went to the parking lot, and Harold followed.
“Not anyone who drives a four-wheel vehicle can drive a race car. Do you have a racing license?”
asked Harold.
Cecilia ignored him and picked the cheapest race car with the lowest performance.
Harold thought Cecilia did not know much and was stingy with her money. He said, “Let me pick a
better one for you. I’ll pay the rental fee. Otherwise, it won’t be honorable even if I win.”
“This car is enough to win against you,” responded Cecilia.
Noticing her arrogance, Harold snorted coldly. “If you lose

later, don’t cry and blame the car.
“We’ll see who’ll cry!”
Cecilia showed her e-racing license to the staff and paid the rental fee under the latter’s astonished
gaze.
She got into the race car skillfully, put on her helmet, and pointed at the race track.
With a loud rumble, the race car quickly drove off like an arrow off the string.
Harold was a little surprised. “I didn’t expect her to be so good.”
One of his friends teased, “Harold, go quickly. Or you won’t catch up to her later.”
“With Harold’s driving skills, he can catch up with her even if
she finishes one lap first.”
“This one seems to be hiding her real skills. You’d better be cautious.”
Harold did not care about it. “How can she be so good at her age? Let’s go. Don’t let her wait.”
The staff shook his head when he heard them talking.
That group of people did not know what kind of person they had messed with. The scene where they
embarrassed themselves later would be interesting.
The staff followed them with the flag.
Except for Harold who had his own car, the rest rented the cars that had already been chosen.
Soon, all the cars arrived at the starting point of the track.
As the flag in the staff’s hand went down, the race began.
The car Cecilia chose had poor performance but surpassed its abilities in her hands. She was ahead of
all the cars from the beginning.
When Harold saw it, he could not help but feel a little restless.
The The Lady Sides Back
and immediately accelerated again.
When Harold caught up with Cecilia, he raised his eyebrows proudly and overtook her.
Cecilia did not take his provocation seriously because the key to pulling apart the distance was not
speeding up on a straight lane. It was about not to slow down when reaching a bend.
At the first bend, Cecilia was behind Harold and caught up with him. She even overtook him.
Although Harold later surpassed Cecilia again on the straight lane, the distance between their cars was
much shorter.
Cecilia had already surpassed Harold when she passed the fourth bend and completed two laps.
Those who were inferior to Harold were left far behind.
Harold chased Cecilia madly but made a mistake. When the car passed by the bend, he did not control
the vehicle well and directly crashed into the guardrail beside the race track.
Fortunately, the safety measure of the track was excellent, and there was a buffer zone. Thus, Harold
did not get hurt much.
Cecilia saw Harold’s accident through the rearview mirror and drove back to the parking lot.
The result of the race was clear. There was no need to
continue.
When she returned the car, several men had helped Harold, who was slightly injured, to the lounge and
looked after him.
Seeing Cecilia coming over, the men immediately turned. silent. They looked awkward.
No one could have thought that Cecilia, whom they looked down upon, was an expert. With a poor-
performance race car, she could even win against Harold, who had a good car.
Cecilia sat opposite Harold and said, “You lost.”
Harold’s expression darkened. He said, “What I said earlier was

a joke. Why did you take it seriously?”
Cecilia had already figured that the rowdy-looking Harold would not admit his defeat.
She pointed to the surveillance cameras not far away. “Do you need me to show everyone our previous
conversation and your behavior NOW?”
“Are you threatening me? You can’t get the surveillance footage of the racing track whenever you
want,” commented Harold. Cecilia directly gestured the staff over and told him about the situation.
She asked, “Can I have a copy of the surveillance footage?”
It was not the staff but Harold who answered, “No!”
Then, he turned to the staff. “You can get back to work. I’ll tell Mr. Yancey about this.”
The staff looked at Cecilia apologetically and explained, “I’m sorry. Mr. Yancey has shares of the racing
track. Harold is a friend of Mr. Yancey. I have to show him some respect.”
He was hinting at Cecilia that if she wanted to get the surveillance footage, she had to start by asking
Jackson.
Cecilia did not make things difficult for the staff. She waved her hand and said, “You can leave now.”
Hearing that, Harold looked at Cecilia proudly as if saying, “So what if you won against me? You can’t
do anything to me.”
Pushing his luck, Harold said, “Hey, if you want to hang out here, you have to please me.” Then, he
patted his thigh before continuing, “Come and sit here.”
Cecilia sneered. “You’re just the same as Jackson!”
With a somber expression, Harold stood up and shouted, “How dare you curse Mr. Yancey? Don’t you
want to stay in the motor racing industry anymore?”
“Why can’t I curse a notorious scu**ag? He’s just a racer. How

dare he represent the motor racing industry? Where did he get that confidence?”
Harold also realized he was bluffing, so he quickly changed his words. “Although Mr. Yancey can’t
represent the motor racing industry, he can represent this racing track and kick you out of here!”
Cecilia leaned against the door of the lounge and coldly looked at Harold, who was putting up an act..
“Let him come here. I’ll wait.” Then, she added, “By the way, tell him I’m Cecilia.”
