Chapter 1333 Rich
Chapter 1333 Rich
Arissa was playing with the children in the garden. The kids would occasionally run into the house to grab some snacks. It was quite a lively scene.
“Mommy, this juice is so fresh! Great-grandaunt made it herself!”
Tim was holding two large cups, offering one to Arissa.
Each of them, including Gavin, had a cup to themselves.
Arissa took it, took a sip, and felt incredibly satisfied. “Delicious!” she exclaimed.
Tim looked at her with a beaming smile, took a big gulp, and his healthy complexioned face radiated happiness.
“Sweetheart, do you miss Rutaceae Village?” Arissa suddenly asked.
Tim looked at her, then gently nodded. “I do miss the village and everyone there!”
Arissa felt reassured. Although her son was young, it was perfectly normal for him to miss the familiar environment and people he had left behind.
“Once the holidays start, I'll take you back to Rutaceae Village for a while!” she promised.
Tim's eyes lit up with anticipation. “When is the holiday?”
“Just a few more months!” Arissa looked at Tim apologetically.
Gavin and the other four squinted their eyes in amusement. Zachary teased his mother, “Mommy, you did this on purpose, didn't you? Tim was just fine, but now that you've mentioned it, he'll definitely be counting the days, and it's still so long.”
Arissa gave an awkward smile.
“Mommy, can we go back to Rutaceae Village this weekend?” Jesse was more excited than anyone else as she was eager to play.
Arissa pinched her nose. “It's not that we can't do it on the weekend; it's just a bit of a rush to go back and forth!”
“No worries, Mommy. We can fly to the village and then fly back here!” Gavin said confidently.
Arissa glanced at Gavin, thinking. He's so rich! There's really no need to make such a fuss just to visit Rutaceae Village. All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.
“When Daddy comes back, I'll talk to him. Maybe this weekend, we can go and check on the progress of the renovations at Great-grandaunt's house!”
Gavin made up his mind. He didn't want Tim to suffer any longer. They could go back and visit everyone soon.
“That's not many days left!” Arissa said with a smile, looking at them. She thought it was possible, but she wasn't sure if Benjamin would let her go. It's Wednesday today; just two more days until the weekend.
“Mommy, you can't take a plane?” Zachary immediately searched it up and found it was best for pregnant women not to fly.
“Huh? What should we do then? Isn't Mommy coming back with us?” Jasper was surprised, having already considered Rutaceae Village his home.
“Mommy can't go back, but we can!” Jesse chuckled mischievously.
Arissa laughed speechlessly. She's even ready to abandon her own mother.
“Mommy, we'll only be gone for two days. You don't need to miss us!” Jasper also agreed not to bring Arissa along.
Adjusting his glasses, Oliver looked at Arissa and said, “Mommy, we will bring back some delicious food for you!”
“Let's not bring Mommy then, just to be safe!” Zachary solemnly suggested.
As Tim was feeling homesick, they decided to accompany him back to Rutaceae Village for a couple of days.
“Let's wait until Mommy feels better, and then we can go back!” Tim furrowed his little brows, not wanting to part with Arissa.
Arissa understood Tim's intentions and laughed, saying, “Why don't you all go back this weekend? Take your great-grandaunt with you. She's been wanting to go back for a visit for a while now!”
The kids are happy, giving each other high fives. “It's settled then.”
Arissa chuckled, then suddenly rubbed her belly with a troubled expression. “After drinking so much juice, I really need to pee!”
“Mommy, we'll go get someone to help you!” Jasper said, turning around to call for help.
Tim, Oliver, and Jesse also followed suit.
“No need. Bring the wheelchair over. I'll use it to go back into the house,” Arissa called out.
Zachary and Gavin quickly called out to stop them, rushing to bring the wheelchair over.
The six kids helped Arissa to her feet together. Their careful attentiveness made Arissa feel as if she was being treated like a queen.
“Mommy, slow down!”
“Mommy, be careful!”
Arissa didn't want them to worry, so she simply responded with a hum.
